Voronezh male choir “Russky Format” (Russian Format) has recorded a football fan anthem which will be played during the FIFA World Cup before the games in Sochi and Samara, head of the ensemble Serafim Dubanov told the RIA “Voronezh” correspondent. The song was written by Darya Larskikh. “Russky Format” will shoot the music video for this song on Tuesday, April 17.

The shooting will be held at the stadium in Ramon. Those willing to take part in it can send a message to the choir representative stating their name and phone number. In addition, the potential participants were asked to write how they were planning to get to the shooting location.

– For those willing to participate in the shooting of our music video but cannot get to Ramon on their own we will organize a trip on a bus which will depart from the Voronezh Concert Hall at 18:15 and take everyone back right after the shooting. Football attributes and Russian National Team fan-like coloring is only welcomed, - Serafim Dubanov told.

Serafim Dubanov created the male choir under the auspices of the Troitsky Cathedral of Voronezh in 2008. Originally, the choir’s repertoire included only sacred songs. In 2013, it gained the metropolitan choir status, and in 2015 – the status of a government choir under the auspices of the Voronezh Concert Hall following the decree of Governor of the Voronezh Region Alexey Gordeev. The ensemble’s repertoire currently includes many worldly songs, so, without forgoing its work at the Annunciation Cathedral, the choir members gave the ensemble a second name – the “Russian Format” choir – to perform with a worldly programme.

The “Russian Format” choir is a winner of many international festivals and a participant of the “Pesni” (Songs) show on TNT Channel.
