The Primal Olympic Games Festival will be held for the first time in the village of Kostyonki of Khokholsky District on Saturday, May 4. This was reported to the RIA “Voronezh” correspondent by representative of the All-Russian Society for the Protection of Historical and Cultural Monuments Alexander Nikitin on Tuesday, April 9.
The festival will be held on the territory of the Kostyonki Museum Reserve. It will begin at 11:00. The program includes games, popular science lectures. They will be read by anthropologist Stanislav Drobyshevsky, archeologists Sergey Lisitsyn and Vladislav Zhitenev. There will be an exhibition of musical instruments of the Museum of Forgotten Music. There will be exhibitions and workshops of craftsmen. There will also be an exhibition named “Non-Primal Painting - 5 years in Kostyonki”.
– The main theme of the festival will be primal competitions based on the lifestyle of ancient people. There are team competitions and individual championship. Guests of the festival will be able to feel like primal hunters, achieve the right to be the leader of the tribe, demonstrate their strength and agility. Also, to learn from experts about life in the Stone Age, get acquainted with modern and prehistoric art, – Alexander Nikitin said.
