The launch of the Soyuz-FG carrier rocket with the Voronezh engine is scheduled for Monday, December 3, the press service of Roskosmos has reported. The launch vehicle will launch the Soyuz MS-11 spacecraft into orbit. The engine of the third stage 11D55 was created at the Voronezh Mechanical Plant.

Roscosmos published a video in which the first and second stages of the Soyuz-FG launch vehicle were placed on the transport and installation unit on Thursday, November 29. General assembly operations are scheduled for Friday, November 30.

The launch will take place at the Baikonur Cosmodrome. The ISS-58/59 expedition includes cosmonaut of Roscosmos Oleg Kononenko, CSA astronaut David Saint-Jacques and NASA astronaut Ann McClain.

Roscosmos will stop operating the Soyuz-FG launch vehicle in 2019.
