The Days of Japan in Voronezh Festival will be held from Monday, November 11, to Saturday, November 16. This was reported by the organizers of the event - the Center for Business Partnership with Japan (based on the Center for the Effectiveness of the Government of the Voronezh Region) and the Embassy of Japan in Russia.
The festival will open on November 11 with the international event Origami for Peace. The participants will be able to become familiar with the art of creating figures from paper.
From November 12 to 16, the Spartak Film Theatre (13 Lenin Square) will host the Japanese cinema festival. Everyone willing will be able to attend free screenings of Japanese films with Russian subtitles: A Midsummer Night's Dream (2009), Waterboys (2001), The Wife of Gegege (2010), Happy Flight (2008), Hotel Hibiscus (2002). In addition, on November 12, festival guests will be able to get acquainted with the work of anime artist Sofia Vivtonenko.Free workshops on the tea ceremony are scheduled for November 15 and 16.
