Voronezh will host the training camp of the Russian National Climbing Team. The Climbing Federation has published a list of candidates for the training camp on Sunday, May 24.
The training camp is agreed with the Voronezh Region Government and the Ministry of Sports of Russia. The training will be held from June 10 to 30. In total, 24 athletes will participate in the training. They will be lodged in the Sogdiana Sports and Recreation Center. Among the athletes will be two Voronezh climbers, Dmitry Popov and Sergei Luzhetsky.
Before June 1, the International Climbing Federation will announce whether the World Championship, which was originally scheduled for a period from August 21 to September 1, will be held in Voronezh.
