69 information boards – panels informing about the object status - will be installed in specially protected natural areas of the Voronezh Region. This was reported on Thursday, May 28, to a RIA Voronezh correspondent by Vitaly Poymanov, the head of the private company that had won the state order for the installation of information boards. The work is planned to be completed within two weeks.
The boards will be installed by order of the Department of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Voronezh Region. The panels will appear in the territories of state natural reserves of regional significance: “Baygorovsky”, “Mikhailovsky”, “Krasnolipyevsky”, “Rodniki”, and “Korotoyakskie Akvaoreshniki”. Also, additional boards will be installed in “Park pgt Anna”, “Ostrogozhskie Plavni”, “Grushevaya Polyana”, “Ozero Krugloe”, “Kostyonki-Borschevo”, sections of the Don and Potudan rivers, chalk slopes of the village of Korotoyak, and other objects.
Four panels will be installed in the Professor Kozo-Polyansky Botanical Garden of the Voronezh State University after in addition to the ten existing ones.
“Information boards are needed so that visitors to protected natural areas would understand where they are, wouldn’t litter, wouldn’t burn bonfires, and took care of nature monuments,” said Director of the Botanical Garden Andrei Voronin.
