The shooting of a documentary about the Don River will start in the Voronezh Region on June 15, the press service of ANO “Russian Oceanographic Community” reported. The production team will include a specialist from France.
The film will be shot as part of the Great Rivers of Russia project. This is a series about the cultural and historical heritage, traditions and customs, the current economic and environmental status of the regions located in the basin of the largest rivers of our country. Its purpose is to tell about the native land, tourist sites, and fascinating events. It promotes protecting nature and respecting the history of our land.
The shooting will start in Liski. The crew will cover more than 500 km in two weeks – the filmmakers will visit Divnogorye, Kostomarovo, Belogorye, Pavlovsk, Verkhny Mamon, Boguchar, the village of Kazan and other places. The script of the project is yet kept secret.
