The military historical reenactment of the battles for Voronezh will be held on Sunday, January 27. The event will take place at 14:00 on the reservoir embankment, opposite the Museum Diorama (94 Leninsky Prospect), the campaign organizers have informed.

The reenactment was timed to the 76th anniversary of the liberation of Voronezh from the Nazi invaders. The organizer is the Voronezh Regional Public Organization “Nabat”. In 2019, 250 people and more than seven units of military equipment will take part in the reenactment. An exhibition of the equipment of World War II period and modern military equipment is also expected. The exhibition is available from 11:00 on January 27 at the Museum Diorama.

Such military historical reenactments are carried out regularly. So, in 2013, a reenactment dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the liberation of the city took place on the embankment. The reenactment 2014 gathered about 10 thousand spectators, despite the bitter cold. The battles of 1942 were reenacted in Voronezh in Peschany Log. Voronezh residents participated in the reenactment of the Battle of Stalingrad, In 2015, the reenactment of the battles for Voronezh gathered 215 people.

In 2018, the traditional military historical reenactment dedicated to the anniversary of the liberation of Voronezh from the Nazi invaders, was held on the site in front of the Museum Diorama on January 28. At least 3 thousand Voronezh residents gathered to see the “warfare theater”.
