Today, February 24, the local “Dynamo” in the last day game of the High Performance Hockey League regular season met with Voronezh “Buran” in Balashikha.

The score was opened in the 15th minute by the home team – the forward Maxim Noskov delivered the puck exactly into the top corner of Denis Cherepanov’s net.

The guest team was slightly leading during the second period, “Buran” had three power plays, but didn’t manage to score. At the end of the period Victor Semykin’s trainees were playing shorthanded after Andrey Petushkin’s penalty for interference. Playing shorthanded “Buran” almost tied the game - Alexander Sherbina gained the possession of the puck in the neutral zone, moved the puck towards the goalktender of “Dynamo” Alexander Zalivin, but could not outplay him. In the end, 8 seconds before the second break the Moscow team scored during the powerplay: Alexander Shibaev moved towards the opponents’ net and confidently outplayed Cherepanov - 2:0.

The third puck into Buran’s net was delivered when the guest team was again playing shorthanded. Andrey Petushkin was again sent of the ice in the 45th minute for high-sticking. A minute after Herman Mikhailov hit the puck, Cherepanov saved the net, but Alexander Shibaev attacked again and scored - 3:0.

The team from Voronezh attempted to return into the game, but the home team’s goaltender was excellent, and eventually kept the goal intact.
