Voronezh Mechanical Plant (VMP) has signed a contract for the supply of gas production equipment with Yamal LNG company. The purchase price is 180 million rubles. This was reported by VMP’s press service on Wednesday, November 7.
The contract includes the supply of 40 sets of wellhead equipment (XTs and CHs) for the construction of gas wells at the South Tambeyskoye field. VMP must fulfill its obligations in full until mid-2019, and deliver part of the sets by the end of 2018.
– This is the first contract of this volume for this customer. VMP operates in the segment of complex equipment, designed for high pressure up to 70-105 MPa, with increased requirements for safety and durability. Such equipment is in demand for the development of new “difficult” Yamal fields, VMP’s press service quoted the company’s director Sergey Kovalyov.
The Mechanical Plant plans to increase the portfolio of oil and gas orders twice a year – up to 1.7 billion rubles.
In 2019, the company will reshuffle. VMP is to withdraw from the JSC Khrunichev State Research and Production Space Center and become part of the new Russian space engine building holding. The combined site will appear in the middle of the year. The integrating company will be NPO Energomash.
Yamal LNG is a joint venture of Novatek OJSC, Total concern, China National Petroleum Corporation and the Silk Road Fund.
