The Rhenus Group opened a logistics complex in Ramonsky District on Wednesday, May 22. It will initially create 30 jobs. The emergence of modern warehouse infrastructure "always gives an additional impetus to the development of companies located in the Voronezh Region, and an opportunity to go beyond the region," - Deputy Chairman of the Voronezh Region Government Sergei Chestikin said at the opening ceremony.

The red ribbon was cut by Deputy Chairman of the Voronezh Region Government Sergei Chestikin, CEO of Rhenus Freight Logistics Olaf Metzger, Chairman of the Russian-German Chamber of Commerce Matthias Schepp, Head of the Agriculture Department of the German Embassy Hinrich Snell, Chairman of the Board of Rhenus SE & Co. KG Clemens-Norbert Retmann.

– Voronezh is a major center on the way from Moscow to the south, railway and road transport routes intersect here. This is why many companies, including foreign investors, prefer to develop precisely on our territory, –Sergei Chestikin noted.

The German company works mainly with food and stationery, but it is ready to adjust to any business in a short time if necessary.

– There are many logistics centers in the Voronezh Region, but each company usually develops its own network of warehouse facilities. This cooperation will strengthen our relations with Germany, which is a strategic partner for the Voronezh Region, – Sergei Chestikin stressed.

The company is planning to develop its business and has already bought two plots of land for the construction of new facilities. This, respectively, will lead to creating more jobs.

– We will build a new warehouse for storing seeds and work with our clients primarily from the field of agriculture, – Olaf Metzger told.
