121 skating rinks will operate in Voronezh in the winter of 2018/2019: 20 of them are designed for mass skating (that is, they have rental centers and are lighted), 11 skating rinks are in the courtyards of residential buildings and 90 are located in school grounds. This was told by Lyubov Kulakova, head of the Department of Education and Youth Policy of the City, at a weekly planning meeting at the Mayor’s Offce on Monday, December 3.

Eight skiing runs with a total length of more than 40 km will be prepared for lovers of skiing. Sports events will be also held in Voronezh from January 1 to January 10 within the framework of the All-Russian Ten-Day Festival of Sports and Health. The planned coverage is 35 thousand citizens.
